Gold, Galleries Gardens

The start of summer always holds such promise! The good weather, longer days and abundance of celebrations has everyone in good form - myself included.

I always love attending the opening of the Annual Exhibition at the RHA; there's such great buzz at this perenially social event - I tend to go to get an overview of the work but then like to sneak back a week or two later when the galleries quieten down and I can really spend time discovering what's on offer. Amelia Stein's work (below) is always a highlight for me. It's ongoing until August, so worth popping by if you're in the city centre at any stage.

My own anniversary was this week; we honeymooned in Japan and so I always think this the perfect time of year to visit the Japanese Gardens at the National Stud; it's a lovely place for reflection and calm which is often much needed during what can be such a busy period before people start trying to wind down for the summer.

Speaking of busy, the office has been bustling with gorgeous gifting orders - with Communion and Confirmation season in full swing, our silver Interval bracelets and gold Shining Star earrings, both under €100, are proving popular as first fine jewellery gifts to commemorate very special occasions.

It's hard to believe it's June already; enjoy whatever sunshine comes your way! NS x
