Ring-a-Ding-Ding

Rings always bring great joy not least because (unlike, say, earrings) they're one of the pieces their owner can actually see and enjoy throughout the day! We love their ability to mark moments; a traditional wedding ring is obvious but there are also gemstones to mark anniversaries; Shooting Stars to celebrate graduations and diamonds to denote children. Our favourite is the rise of the four and five stone for Big Birthdays - why not have a diamond for each decade?! Stacking is ultimately personal; below are our favourite tips:

Do use a plain gold band to break up a diamond-heavy stack; it cuts through the sparkle to let each ring really shine to the maximum.

Don't be afraid to mix metals! White and yellow gold is a cool combination and feels very fresh.

Do mix shapes - in a single-tone stack this looks contemporary and chic; think a 2mm round gold band with something wider and flatter, with an Octagon thrown in to complete the perfect trifecta.

Don't think you can only use your fourth finger - play around with a stack on your index finger - or we always love something on our pinky; the Petite Diamond Band is perfect for either.
