Three things we love this spring

We’re checking in... to The White Lotus. The Mike White-created anthology TV
spectacular, a sharp social satire centred around wealthy guests at a luxe holiday
resort, returns on February 16. Season three, which is set in Thailand and stars
90s It girl Parker Posey, as well as Michelle Monaghan and Leslie Bibb, is already
garnering rave reviews. Without a huge team of people in the office with whom we could discuss episodes over coffee, we've signed up to Vulture's weekly emails so we can dissect the storyline along with the brilliant editors of New York Magazine.

We’re coveting...the latest drop from Phoebe Philo, Collection B, which has just
landed at Brown Thomas, Grafton Street and on the designer’s website. Expect:
clean lines, striking shapes and an offbeat sense of minimalism, as per Philo’s
trademark aesthetic. We particularly like her showcase of how a sleek, powerful earring can be the perfect counterpoint to dramatic texture and the square-toe heels have a firm spot on our wish-list. It begs the question: who doesn’t want to be a Phoebe Philo woman when they grow up?

We’re reading...The Wildelings, the new novel by Dublin author Lisa Harding
(Harding previously wrote Bright Burning Things and Harvesting). A must-read for
any fans of dark academia and in the vein of Donna Tartt’s The Little Friend, The
Wildelings is set in 1990s Dublin, where a group of bohemian students study at
the elite private college Wilde, so-called after Ireland’s great writer Oscar Wilde.
Teetering on the edge of glory – or the precipice of destruction? – lies, lust andmanipulation are de rigueur for these youths. But one thing is sure: their actions
will have consequences for years to come. Published by Bloomsbury; pre-order it here.
