As we press restart on the year, I have been thinking about all the lovely pieces of jewellery we've been asked to update. They are pieces languishing at the back of drawers, sometimes special and sentimental, other times just with fantastic quality stones in poorly-fashioned settings. This ring pictured was one of my favourites; it was so dazzling, my client couldn't believe the diamond was the same one that had been covered by the heavy gold of its previous setting! I feel very strongly that jewellery is made to be worn, to be loved. So if you have a piece you no longer wear, why not bring it in to us so we can work our magic?
