This striking ring features a labradorite, hand set in weighty 18ct yellow gold. In their best form, as here, labradorites exhibit a broad flash of electric blue that swells across the surface of the stone as it moves, a signature phenomenon known as 'labradorescence' from which the gem takes its name.

Due to the nature of its phenomenon, no two labradorites will ever be the same. The flash of blue across this one is truly unique, and the stone is cut to maximise the colour so the gradient and finished curve of the gem is also completely one of a kind.
